Wow. I really liked the episode even though Noe wasn’t picked. Speaking of which, let me get that outa the way. Noe wasn’t picked, Noe wasn’t picked, Noe wasn’t picked, Noe wasn’t picked, Noe wasn’t picked, No- Noe… wasn’t picked, Noe was…n’t…. picked. ::sniff:: wow, Noe wasn’t picked!?!?
Okay I got my frustration out of the way. Even though I am still in completely unnecessary shock, I found it fine that Hiromi was chosen – just as she was destined to be chosen from the start. I was so relieved to find that Noe’s fall wasn’t fatal or too serious. Jun pointed out something interesting. He commented on how snow can be good. This might show that his time was Hiromi impacted him in some way. Not to say he actually liked her, just that he was touched by her. Then again, this was the last episode so speculation is kinda pointless here now isn’t it?
I’m sure anybody reading a blog covering the final episode of an anime has already seen said anime so I won’t spend much time talking about what all happened. In short, Noe didn’t get fatally injured and take away Shin’s tears as she lay on her death bed. Jun didn’t stay to watch over his sister, he took his job and left. Shin tried to show his book to Noe, she wouldn’t have it at first. Shin eventually gets to show Noe the book and they part ways kindly, but then she sees the old rocks that Shin used to write his confession and she cried.
Now for what really mattered. Apparently doing the splits is a big thing. (I meant to take “apparently” off the front of the front of that sentence because yes, doing the splits is a big thing.) I want to say Shin made the bad decision when he chose Hiromi over Noe, but they have to send up little messages like that. I must now say that choosing Hiromi will pay off in the end, if you know what I mean.
I obviously mean that she has potential in gymnastics and could open a school in a studio and earn them a decent income.
Second, when Shin and Noe kindly parted ways, why in the world did Shin rudely sing Noe’s song after her? I mean. That’s her happy song and but one time did she add the depressing Hiromi in Shin’s heart line, yet Shin feels it necessary to scream it out at the top of his lungs. Like scraping salve off a wound and rubbing in salt.
what a douche!
Thirdly, what was with the freeze frame when Jun stepped off the bus? What I mean is that it was a weird one. I don’t mind them doing one at that time, but exactly when it froze was off. It froze as Jun was walking into the camera and a little boy was stepping off the bus. Emphasis of the shot? The little boy. Speculation? Jun and Noe’s love child!
as if
Last, if you think about it. Shin made Noe cry in the end.
therefore I hate him.
The end, It was a great show. I want to say “Come on OVA!” but I can’t help but think it’d be sad.
Haha, I want an OVA too! ><”
Poor Jun … he should’ve stayed with NOE!
everyone shoulda stayed with NOE!
