I just watched the 13th episode and ending to Minami-ke. I guess I’ll just wait for the Minami-ke ~Okawari~ now, because after finishing this hilarious show I can only expect great things.
Since I started this blog site late and only just finished the series, I’ll just discuss the last episode the most. Minami-ke 13 probably made me laugh the hardest since 12, then 11, then 10… etc. Each episode has gotten better and better. The thirteenth episode didn’t exactly end the way I hoped it would, but at the same time I was not disappointed in the least. It didn’t give any closure to the love interests in the show and even left Hosaka standing on the top of a snowy peak over a village holding the noodles he worked so hard to make for Haruka. Probably one of my favorite scenes in the episode would probably be given to Hosaka in the kitchen preparing the noodles with such intense love. I mean, damn he is probably the most “awkward,” epic guy ever. I can’t believe the girls just didn’t flock to him.
It wasn’t only the fact that Hosaka didn’t get a chance to profess his love to Haruka and have her try his magnificent food, but also that Fujioka and Makoto got to see their crushes. Although the reason why didn’t upset me. In a funny turn of events, the Minami girls didn’t make it to the festival because they got “drunk” (broke… whatever) off of non-alcoholic imprt juices. The bit about “No alcohol for minors!” made me think it was non-alcoholic, but I’ll just play it safe in my mind and assume they were. And boy were Haruka and Chiaki funny.
All I’ve really done is complain about this episode, but in all the things I’ve said you will find what I liked. I actually loved this episode and rate Minami-ke as a tops in my book. I am glad it ended the way it did (Hosaka standing ona snowy peak with noodles for four and laughing into the wind).
I can’t wait for the Minami-ke ~Okawari~!
LOL! Hey I’ve just started a blog too. LOL
Anyway, yeah I really like Minami-ke but then the next season looks crappier – as in the pictures. And yeah, I was hoping there would be some Kana and Fujioka moments.
yeah it was good
however was it just me or did 9 and 10 seem like the show was stalling with all the jokes about traps
I must say valentinne I agree with you that the second season certainly does look odd (I wouldn’t say crappier, but hey). If it is anything like what I’ve been watching then I’ll be just fine. Even if Chiaki and Haruka look wierd with their bleached blonde hair. I mean seriously they don’t even really look like themselves.
And yea Berkles, that show had been stalling but in the most hilarious ways. I kinda wanna go search for the manga and read it, but we both know I’m not a big manga person outside of FMA, Shaman King, and Shugo Chara!
