I must say this show is showing more and more potential. My favorite character, Itsurugi Noe continues to get more interesting. At the start of the episode she explains to Shinichirou that she has given away her tears and she is on a quest to get them back, but she must take someone else’s. Throughout the episode Shin seems to toss over the idea that it is his tears she wants.
Because of the recent death of Raigomaru and her new born friendship with Shinichiro, she has shown more and more interested in him and has even said that she has high hopes for him. Shin is afraid that he has just become a replacement for Raigomaru and his fears are slightly right when she hands him the same food she used to give specifically to her favorite chicken.
Everyone quickly notices that the popular Noe likes Shin without him really even trying. This especially iritates Nobuse, Shin’s friend, because Shin already lives with Hiromi.
But not only do his fellow classmates notice, but Hiromi Yuasa notices too. Her friend comments on how Noe is stealing him away, but Hiromi doesn’t show much interest in that. However, the fact that somebody has taken an interest in Shin seems to stir something up inside her. She become less withdrawn at home and even talks to Shin at school. But the main reason she even addresses him is so that she can meet Noe and “be friends.” Turns out that she never really wanted to be friends and Noe even points out that Hiromi doesn’t like her, but she doesn’t mind. The fact that Hiromi has come out of her shell a bit and this “not liking” would explain why she fumbled over her basketball and tripped during practice just at the sight of this opposing girl.
I hope Noe wins Shin’s heart!
Dude, I hope Noe wins Shin’s heart as well! She’s so much better than Hiromi! Hiromi probably never talked to Shin before because she thought he was all hers … well, she’s wrong about that. It’d be so much better with the lead falling in love with a cute girl.
Go Noe! I’m rooting for ya!!
I am totally with you on that one. You described it exactly how it is. I guess I’ll keep watching and see, but I really hope she doesn’t get the upper hand just because he’s likes her for so long. As far as I can tell Noe is better, even if she is a little odd.
The cute out weighs the odd though. She totally rocks!
Lead + Cute Girl = My vote
I dunnoes how people like Hiromi though, and how some want Shin to end up with her, lol. That’s definitely a no no for me. But I hear this anime might be like one of those arc things when they concentrate on Noe first, the move on to Aiko, then last of all Hiromi cos she’s the main. I hate to admit but most anime where there’s a girl living under the same roof, they usually end up together. Take Kimikiss pure Rouge for example, although nothing has happened YET, it’s pretty obvious that distant relationships don’t work out so the Kouichi guy is gonna end up with Mao. Sorry, if you don’t understand what I’m saying, lol.
I understand what you’re saying, even though I haven’t watched any Kimkiss. But I understand. It seems obvious that he’d end up with her, but I relly wish that wasn’t the case.
I’d be happy with what you said about it being a story arc type show, but I don’t at the same time. It’s only supposed to be 13 episodes so I can’t help but think it’d be rushed if they did that.
I suppose they’d have to do a story arc for each girl because as far as I know this is based off of a date sim. So I think the most logical explanation would be to do that.
Let’s just hope that Hiromi gets better as the show progresses.
LOL, I just hope Noe ends up with Shin cos I don’t think Hiromi will get any better.
