This show is just so fun. Shinichirou is becoming closer with Hiromi. That kinda irritates me, but, oh well, it was evident. He now regularly receives the red seeds from Noe at a stalker form of rate. Everywhere he goes he sees those seeds (foot locker, desk, book back, etc.). Shin’s stupid friend Nobuse is convinced that Noe loves Shin, but Shin says otherwise and that it doesn’t matter to him anyways. This makes me wonder because it is obvious that he has some feelings for her because when he sees her with the guy who is picking her up from school he is a little shaken. Turns out this guy is her brother. That made me so glad because when I saw her getting on that bike with him my own heart broke a little. I kept hoping over and over again that it wasn’t brother.
Shin and Nobuse’s regular visits to their friend Ai’s workplace revealed what Hiromi meant by lie of wanting to be friends with Noe. Turns out, through another girl’s opinion, that she would only want to get close to somebody that she didn’t really like if she could get close to somebody she did like at the same time. Shin concludes that the only person near Noe is himself and that Hiromi must like him, but he puts that aside because he can’t see that as a possibility. But during the entire conversation and previous time with Ai he can’t seem to pick up on her feelings towards him.
In the end Noe uses her cute antics to hitch a ride on Shin’s back, faking an injured leg. She was fine; she just wanted an effortless trip to her brother’s basketball game. The same game that Hiromi and her friend were keeping score at. Hiromi and her friend see Shin and Noe across the court and after the game, when Shin is on his way to explain to Hiromi what was really happening, he over hears her and her friend talking about himself. Hiromi says that she doesn’t like Shinichirou and to not mention his name around her anymore and that she really likes number 4 from Hotarugtawa (guessing that’s another school). Just after saying this, she walks off and sees Shin standing there flabbergasted.
I must say that this was an unseen turn of events. I am liking this show more and more, but what I don’t understand is why I felt sad when I heard that Hiromi doesn’t like Shin. I rooting for Isurugi Noe, not that girl who forgets about important childhood memories between Shin and herself! Oh well, I’m looking forward to the next episode.
