First of all, Noe licked Shin. That’s the picture. That was the best. Okay I got that out of the way. Noe didn’t really have that big a role in this episode it was mostly about Hiromi. The three big things that happen in the episode, aside from Noe licking Shin’s cheek, were Noe eating lunch with Hiromi (after being turned down for lunch by Shin) saying that friends exchange food, Shin sees Jun again and accidentally agrees to date Noe if Jun dates Hiromi, and Ai cluthching on to Shin.
We see the love issues revolving around Shin finally take off in this episode. Noe wants to eat with him and walk home with him, because he is a genuinely interesting person to her. He’s just a good friend. We don’t really know if Noe liked Shin romantically, but chances are she wouldn’t turn him down on a date or anything of the sort. Shin, however, decides to piss me off by saying no to her about eating lunch and walking home. Eating lunch with a man would be weird for her and he has dance practice after school. Noe realizes later that eating lunch with a man is okay and that he didn’t have dance practice because he walked home with Hiromi after school instead. This aside, she still decides to trail him down to his dance practice the next day and eat with him.
Hiromi on the other hand has backed herself into a corner. It’s kinda apparent that she likes Shin now, because she is glad to walk home with him and even shares her scarf when he gets cold. After Shin’s meeting with Jun and the older boy’s acceptance to the trade off remarking that Hiromi is indeed cute Shin decides to let Hiromi know that the boy she “likes” thinks fondly of her. But just before entering her room Hiromi receives a text from her friend insisting that she stick with Shin. Receiving a text of that matter then getting a knock on the door from the boy that has lived under the same roof but has never entered your own bedroom right after eachother seems kind of compelling so she lets him in. But to he dismay he starts talking about Noe’s brother. This agreement may turn for the worse in the end.
As for Ai. Her stupid boyfriend goes on talking abot how great she is. He even notices that she is wearing a new sweater and comments on how its kind of plain for he tastes. This is exactly what she thought, so I am guessing this guy isn’t that bad of a boyfriend. He notices things about her and likes her a lot and even recognizes her tastes and fashions. So what’s so bad about him and so great about Shin? The only reason I dislike Ai’s boyfriend and choose not to learn his name is because reminds me of a guy that annoys me. That doesn’t matter. He asks for a handmade sweater just jokingly without actually planning to get one, but to his surprise she agrees to make one. However, at the end of the episode it is Shin she sizes it against with the excuse to him that his shoulders are probably about the same size. Shin complies, but when a knock on the front door of the store comes the blushing girl behind Shin insists that he not answer it. My own thoughts: She’s a whore. Break up with your boyfriend, don’t cheat on him sheesh.
Anyways the episode ties up nicely andall in all was pretty good. The questions left are: How will the trade off between Shin and Noe’s brother work out? What exactly will happen with Ai and her boyfriend? And what is Shin’s mom’s deal?
(In this episode we found out the biggest possible reason Hiromi can’t get near Shin is because of Shin’s own mother. What a Whore!)
